Day 4: Afternoon

After awakening I took a stroll through Ferluci and found another claimed piece of land. This was for a certain Mira...which authority is approving these people? More investigation is required.
I dug up four more fossils and with that my debt to Nook was paid. A trip to his office turned out toxic, because upon entering I was introduced to one of his partners (in crime), an otter by the name of Lyle. This "Lyle" is of the Happy Home Academy and judges houses for a certain contest. Naturally a larger house receives a higher rating. Connecting to this, Nook asked me if I wanted an expansion on my house. Considering I had an image to uphold and didn't want to arise suspicion, I decided to agree.
Another question mark is Timmy Nook. I saw this little underling of the Nook cartel for the first and only time in the Recycling Store, peddling stuff sold to Nook's Junction...
I'm curious on what kind of dark mission this little raccoon was sent on.
Finally I was able to purchase a fishing rod and I decided to empty all waters of Ferluci of all fish I could get my hook on. Every fish I caught went straight to the museum's aquarium, this way I had a tranquil place to hatch my plans...muahaha.

Day 3: Morning

My day started with a visit to Tom Nook. Since I made a down payment for my house, I still have to pay the rest of the debt and I was determined to face the music.
He informed me about the rest of the debt...39,800 Bells! What?!
I rushed over to Nook's Junction, hoping to purchase a fishing rod and slingshot to speed up my earnings. Alas the little fail Tommy could only sell me the tools I already owned...other forces are at work here.
I had to sell the fossils I dug up because this is the fastest way to make a buck in this town.
A new attire was needed to fit my new mobster image: a Chinese emporer hat and sunglasses with round lenses. The Chinese maffia look.Br> The strange thing about this morning is that I did not find a trace of Gulliver. Did Nook have a hand in this?
This was it. It's time to show Nook that the comfortable time in this town is over and I posted a message on the bulletin board "Look out Tom Nook. There is a new cartel in town.".

Day 2: Night

I was outside of town occupied with other matters, and it was already night when I returned to Ferluci. Luckily the construction of my house was finished and I did not see that wretched raccoon anywhere so he can drain me off more Bells. I decorated the interieur of my small house and took a stroll around town.
To my surprise I saw that a portion of land was secured with rope and a sign that said "Land reserved for Octavian's house.". I can't remember giving permission for this...
I wanted to make some more bells by selling stuff, but I found out that the Recycling store and Nook's Junction were both closed. Utterly dissapointing. Also, there is nothing to do at night. This town could really use a bar!
Out of sheer boredom, I went fossil hunting and donated several to the museum.
I took a stroll on the beach to collect sea shells to sell when I came across a bird named Gulliver that washed up on shore. He wasn't very talkative and refused to get up or receive help, so I left him to his affairs.
Isabelle told me to come to City Hall so I could receive more explanation regarding my function as mayor. More information how to manipulate my subjects perhaps?
Once I arrived in City Hall I was finally allowed to mount my throne behind my desk. I was told that I could change the design of the town flag and the tune of the town bell...not really what I expected but interesting nonetheless.
Next to that I heard that only 17% of the town occupants were satisfied with me. What?! Probably going to have to make some bribes.
In the dark of night my options are limited, I will wait until dawn...

Day 1: Afternoon

I walked out of my tent and a postal pelican named Pete pointed me to just delivered mail. It was a letter of an unknown sender, who claimed to have been the original mayor but failed to fill this position due to certain circumstances. I smell a conspiracy.
Naomi the cow started to discuss the decoration of my home. Does she want to move in with me? A most disturbing thought.

I made my way to Tom Nook to discuss my debt. He refused to start building my home until I made a down payment...of 10.000 Bells!!
To comfort myself I went to the Able Sisters clothing store and purchased a purple royal frockcoat and some glasses to suit my new position.
To gather the funds to pay off Nook, I had to collect all the pears and flowers of the entire town and sell them to a Llama named Reese who runs the recycling store.
After purchasing a butterfly net at Nook's Junction, I'm catching all the butterflies in Ferluci. I wonder if they'll rise in value the more I capture...
Another peculiar thing in this village is that there is money hidden in some of the trees. In other trees there might be bees hidden. Is this someones devilish scheme? After finally paying off Tom Nook, he was willing to start building my house. This should be completed tomorrow. I know where to find him if this is not the case.

Day 1: Morning

I woke up on a train and I had no idea how I got there. A cat with red eyes looked at me with great amusement. He stood up when he notices me seeing him and walked over. His name was Rover and he started to subject me to a questioning. He wanted to know the date and time...a time traveller? After he sat across from me, he asked me where I was going. I made up a name to throw him off: Ferluci.
After several more questions the name of the next station was announced and it was Ferluci! I got off the train and I was greeted by a conductor monkey. Not taking the time to ask his name, I rushed onwards.
Outside the station I was welcomed by a poodle, horse, penguin and cow. I was instantly proclaimed to mayor.....the fools!! Muahahaha. The horse Clyde began to sweet talk me and flowers appeared floating around his head, and I in turn didn't mention the dress he was wearing. The poodle was named Isabelle and lead me to City Hall. Apparantly I need a house and have to acquire this at Nook's Homes. On my way I came across the cow Naomi. She says she is my biggest supporter en wants to be great 'friends'...very suspicious.
I arrived at Nook's Homes and left with Tom Nook, a greedy raccoon, to the location where I wanted my house. He told me from the get go that I will be stuck with a huge debt. Earlier on I noticed that he owned several businesses, Does he have a cartel in this town? Things to investigate.

After I was elected mayor, I had to plant a tree during the special ceremony. All my followers were present at the ceremony and cheered when I received the mayor title officially, my rise to power is now complete.

I decided to visit some of my followers and after going by a few neighbours, I found out that almost everyone was asleep during the day. Did I arrive in a vampire nest? The only neighbour that was awake, was Kiki. A hyper active black cat. She didn't offer me anything to drink, so I took my leave.

In need of some Bells (money), I went to Nook's Junction, a small shop with all kinds of goods. When I entered the shop I was surprised by a small Nook named Tommy, probably the son of Tom Nook, who let on quite early that he was going to screw me over with everything I bought or sold...the apple doesn't fall far from the tree. I sold him some sea shells and pears and bought a shovel. After digging up some fossils, I went to the museam to have them taxed. They appeared to be of high value and I decided to donate them for now to not arise any suspicion...
